Earlier today I checked the progress of Hurricane Irma.

Checking the Metar and TAF for Key West turned up some interesting figures Shocked

Current Metar Vis 805 m and surface wind 020* 31 G58 Kts

But this TAF was the worst ....

11/09/17 at 00.00

Vis down to 1/4 mile

Wind 350* 90 G120 kts Shocked

Clouds
BKN 200'
BKN 800'
OVC 1000'

Certainly not getting the brunt of this wee beastie, but spectacular figures all the same.
