Here are my findings regarding this aircraft:
Commercial Level Simulations (CLS) model B743F (Boeing 747-300)
On my setup, there is an anomaly where sometimes the Glideslope will NOT become active.
This model has voice announcement when it IS active, and of course, the PNI becomes alive.
I have found if one clicks on the NAV/GPS switch once. it wakes it up and it works.
This after much trial and error.
This issue probably does not arise for the majority of fightsimmers as most use the aircraft's GPS regularly.
As a realworld, instrument rated pilot, I use the primary panel instruments which I've used my entire adult life.
Thus, the NAV/GPS switch does not get much use.
In my setup, if the NAV/GPS control switch on the CLS panel is not activated at least once -- and it simply remains in the NAV position -- it will NOT work.
Click on it once -- the switch does not move -- and it works. Go figure.
