Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Had occasion to visit the Museum of Industry and Technology in Chicago last week. Quite the place. Shocked Shocked

Complete 727 mounted to the wall. All control surfaces pneumatically operate on a random basis, including the gear. This aircraft was the largest to ever land on the old Meigs Field in Chicago. There's quite a video they have of the landing.











A few years ago this actual model of the Wright Flyer flew, powered by a built from scratch engine identical to the original.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy It certainly did guys. It was one of the highlights of our AMTRAK train trip around the central and northern USA this month. 9543 km's and 126 hours on the train with a three day break in Chicago . . . great experience and a very restful way to view the scenery.
