Some more photos of Larnach Castle this morning .......

The Castle is about 1000' ASL and was enveloped in low cloud this morning. There is some fascinating history behind our sole castle.

Incredible interior detail and views of the converted stable which is used to serve breakfast to the lodge guests 😊

A big day on the road today. Driving from Dunedin to Tekapo via Oamaru & Omarama.

Looking towards Omarama with Lake Benmore off to the right

Reflections on Lake Benmore

MT Cook and Lake Pukaki. There's a major front creeping across the Southern Alps tonight

Irishman Creek, a southern iconic landmark.

Thanks, Pete fpr posting
You are a fine photographer
I like your photographs as they are much like my own, stating:
"Here is where we went and this is what we saw."
What a wonderful vacation and what a beautiful country you live in
We really enjoyed the table setting of Wedgwood china pattern; "Blue & White Plate Country Scenes". The classic setting for a classy couple Laughing Rolling Eyes
P.S. The Maori Dance Troupe who visited Victoria this summer were from Southland

Wow Pete, great stuff ..!!
My Grandaughter is heading for New Zealand in November for a couple of months, she is preparing for Med school and is going there to look around and get herself prepared . I sure hope she gets to see some of what you've shown here.
Cheers, Carm
