Had this Gulfstream G650 stop in at Tauranga today Cool

Spoke with the crew when they came up to the Museum for a coffee. It was a crew training mission ( Oh the things we do Wink )

But it's been places over the last few weeks ....

NZAA - LAX direct 11 hrs

NZAA - Chicago direct 14.5 hrs Shocked

But today it was short legs .... Auckland , Hamilton , Tauranga

In the company I had the pleasure to spend most of my working life, the board had three exec jets at their disposal, one of them a Lear 45. Three times I was allowed (I was not a member of the board) to use it for flights into Russia. All three times we cruised at an altitude of FL430, well above the usual FL390 for commercial airliners
